It is constructed from Cuban Mahogany and dates to the 1780's. The display cabinet sits of four splayed legs and is in the table style of display cases. A beautiful and very rare pair of ‘dressers’ from the textile industry and made by Thomas Edward Bladon and dating to c1890. The pieces are made of solid brass with a copper relief. The handles are hollow with a screw top lid allowing liquid to be poured inside. Each ‘dresser’ measures 15” in length.
