Beautifully executed in a fine Western style ( Bunsai's trademark, and painted in a delicate pallette is measures 18" x 6". Images are available of this gorgeous piece. Bonsai went on to develop a considerable following for his botanical paintings. WATERCOLOR BY OLIVER HADSON - HIGHGATE. AUGUST 9th 1867' This beautiful and evocative watercolor is an original painted in 1867 and depicting three young children resting in the park. The painting is in exceptionally good condition, signed on the verso and with its colors vibrant and unfaded. It was probably part of a Victorian family album as it has not seen the light of day. It measures 9" x 6" and is offered unframed.

Wylie, Alan OIL PAINTING - ANDY DE VOOGHT (PORTRAIT OF VANCOUVER ART GALLERY OWNER) - ca.1976, 22" x 30". This superb oil painting on board by the Canadian artist Alan Wylie is a portrait of a well known Vancouver Art Gallery owner, seated and holding a glass of Scotch ( why not! ) . Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Alan Wylie immigrated to Nova Scotia and began a 36-year career as a full-time artist and teacher. He has shown 64 solo exhibitions, as well as been a part of numerous group shows. Among other accolades, Wylie is a Dolphin Fellow of the American Watercolor Society and received gold medals from the Canadian & Australian International Watercolor Exhibition and the California Watercolor Association. He has exhibited across Canada and parts of the United States and is represented in the collections of the Nova Scotia Museum of Fine Arts, the Lt. Governor of Nova Scotia, Prudential Assurance Company, Hiram Walker & Sons, Shell Oil Resources, the Lt. Governor of British Columbia and the Edmonton Journal. A very sought after artist.
