A SET OF FOUR HARE COURSING HAND PAINTED ENGRAVINGS DATING TO 1823 by Artist: WOLSTENHOME  Printer: ACKERMANN  Dated: 1823. This set of four hare coursing prints are in good condition, some foxing and staining at lower edges, one or two with marks on surface. They were published by Akermann in 1823 and have their original maple frames, all with original glass. A set of three aquatints by CARLO VERICO - These beautiful original aquatints was published in Italy ca1830 and are in good condition, original hand coloring still very vibrant, fine detail, a little stained at lower border, one or two creases, offered framed in museum quality framing, engraving size 10" x 7", overall size 17" x 15". These are part of a series of engravings that Verico accomplished of the Livorno area of Italy and are very scarce indeed. Despite it not being in pristine condition, these are still very desirable engravings. The marks on the images are relections in the glass. The images are 1) The Anglican Cemetry 2) The main Piazza at Livorno 3) The Water Works at Livorno.
