Levasseur, Victor. - A SUPERB COLLECTION OF MAPS DATING TO 1838 BY VICTOR LEVASSUER DEPICTING THE FRENCH PROVINCES - 1868 ,15" x 20". ,Pelissier,This wonderful collection is from a large folio 1868 edition of Victor Levasseur’s Atlas National Illustrated. The maps are all in very good condition, some showing slight yellowing at edges, and one or two are very lightly chipped. Full borders as published, original block color to central map, beautifully engraved border illustrations depicting the produce of the region in the map. Levasseur's maps, noted for their fine engraved illustration, were published in Paris.
